Fellow Marine's 5 year old daughter has CANCER! PLEASE HELP US!
This is a copy of the email my Gunny sent out to the shop this morning. It is regarding the tragic circumstances surrounding my good friend's daughter. My heart is truly broke...n for this little girl. Please get on your knees and pray for this little one. Also if you can, please spare the 4 or 5 bucks for a burger, dip, or smokes to help this cause...

Some of you may have already heard, but SSgt Parker's daughter, Bailey, has cancer. It is on one kidney (wilm’s tumor), lung and on a major artery from the heart. The Navy misdiagnosed it for the past month as UTI/constipation. He found this out on July 14 and she was evac'd to St. Jude's in Memphis on July 16. Only one parent is funded to go and he has two other boys at home (7 y/o Jaymes and 1 y/o Mason). We have set up a Fund through Navy Fed via Paypal to help him with the trips back /forth and help support the two boys here in P-Cola until his HUMS/EFMP goes through, if it even does, to attach him to a Memphis unit. Ashley’s younger sister is here to care for them, but she is only 20 and married to a LCpl at Pendleton.

Also, you know that he is not the type of guy to ask anybody for anything, especially money. Whatever he doesn’t use were rolling it back into St. Jude’s. We are forcing him to keep receipts (I think he’ll be better off this tax season if he does…). A lot of the Marines and Sailors have given from the command, but we are a far cry from where we need to be. We have about $400, but we are shooting for $10,000 to cover plane tickets back and forth and motel/food costs.
